Default Did you go out for Black Friday and what did you go for?
I must say, I went to Target and got out as quick as possible.

I ventured out at 5:00 AM to go get:

*the Olevia 37in LCD HDTV for $549.00
*300 on DVD for $5.xx
*Shrek the Third for $14.xx

Basically, I was after the TV for my Dad. Got the DVDs as a bonus. Now I get to work from 8-1:30 in a retail clothing store. Good times

I considered a venture to get a couple of those cheap Prophecies accounts. As it turned out, my sister and her friends were shopping anyway, so I just threw some cash her way and stayed in bed.

I wanted to but I had to stand duty today ><....

however I DID have my bro pick me up a 160gb portable pocket usb harddrive for $50 bucks ^^
along with all the other sweet deals he got for himself... grrr....
somehow he got a 42" 1080p highdef for $400... nutz!

Black Friday is a special sales day for all stores in America. It always takes place the day after Thanksgiving. Best time to buy anything expensive however some stuff I want to buy are never on the Black Friday sale

Yeah but the best sales usually last until noon and unless you are the first one in the door, all the really good deals are sold out real quick. Also the lines are terribly long so I'm not that fond of it. Besides, I usually get most of my Christmas shopping done before Thanksgiving so I don't have a need to rush out.

I didn't know that. I always thought it was called "black" because it's hell for anybody shopping that day.

Didn't know that, I would have gone with RPG Maniac's guess. It's certainly why I didn't go out today.

Black Friday's the shopping day where you hear the most about people being trampled or killed over various bargains <_<

Actually wanted to go out today and shop like no tomorrow. Then it hit me. I got everything I could possible want at the moment. Needless to say, I just went back to bed. Then got up and went to work.

i just got the movies 1408 and 300 at a bookstore for 10$$$ and i got new shoes and there was SOOOOOOO much ppl when we were lokoing for a park to park our car and we waited for 30 minutes just to find a parking.

I always go out day after the holidays it's the best time to get decorations for cheap and pick up a few things that would other wise be costly.
